Ongoing research & development: Work with Francis LeBouthillier / Surgical Training Fetus (PDF link). As featured by Research Matters and the Smithsonian Channel: A groundbreaking synthesis of traditional plastic arts and direct digital manufacturing, the Surgical Training Fetus aims to create patient-specific, anatomically accurate prenatal models to help surgeons develop customized, live-saving in utero procedures. Project funded by Arc Fed Dev Ontario and the Centre for Innovation in Information Visualization and Data-Driven Design (CIVDDD).
